While we’ll still have to wait a while until Samsung reveals the final design, some concept images are making round on the internet. Here are some of those images.
If reports are to be believed, the Galaxy S6 will debut at MWC 2015. The GalaxyS5 was launched in this year’s MWC. The report claims S5 will have a 5.3-inch 4K (2160×3840 pixels) Super Amoled display. If true, the Galaxy S6 would provide a big-time display improvement from its predecessor, which offers a 5.1-inch Super Amoled with 1080×1920 pixel full-HD resolution. The device is also tipped for an iris scanner. Reports have also suggested the S6 will include a 20-megapixel rear-facing camera and Android 5.0 Lollipop. The Korean tech giant is believed to be working on a new line of smartphones that would be similarly designed to the metal Alpha.
From the concept design, we can assume that Samsung will be getting rid of the plasticy back covers it uses on almost all its devices except for the Note series where it uses a leather finish. Apart from these, the device will come with a fingerprint scanner; the heart rate sensor will we water resistant, and we can expect the South Korean giant to push some more features onto it. We need to wait few more month; hopefully till the Mobile World Congress (MWC) to see the device officially from the company. Untill then we are sure to see many rumours and leaks of the device. Recently we have seen Samsung releasing the Galaxy A3 and A5 devices and A3 was the thinnest device that was ever made by the company till date.
