Xiaomi revealed the number of units set for sale via a Mi India Facebook post on Friday. Xiaomi had last week also announced that the first 5,000 Flipkart First consumers who register for Tuesday’s will get the Xiaomi Redmi Note added to their carts on Monday.If you failed to register, the next sale would happen on December 9, for which fresh registrations will begin at 6:00PM today.

Xiaomi has finally announced its most awaited smartphone in India. Yes, the Redmi Note has gone official today during company’s launch event in New Delhi. The device is priced surprisingly priced at INR 8,999 and will go on sale from December 2 on Flipkart’s website. The Indian variant of Redmi Note will come with Octa-core Mediatek SoC MT6592, clocking at 1.7 GHz with 2GB of RAM. It will be complimented by Mali-450 GPU. It will feature a 5.5-inch 720p IPS display, which will have 267 PPI density.

Xiaomi has finally announced its most awaited smartphone in India. Yes, the Redmi Note has gone official today during company’s launch event in New Delhi. The device is priced surprisingly priced at INR 8,999 and will go on sale from December 2 on Flipkart’s website. The Indian variant of Redmi Note will come with Octa-core Mediatek SoC MT6592, clocking at 1.7 GHz with 2GB of RAM. It will be complimented by Mali-450 GPU. It will feature a 5.5-inch 720p IPS display, which will have 267 PPI density.
Although, that’s not it, Hugo Barra also announced the 4G variant of Redmi Note, which will be priced at INR 9,999. It will be available in the second half of December.While Redmi Note 4G variant will come with Android Kitkat OS (MIUI 6), the original Redmi Note will be running on Android Jelly Bean. The 4G variant will be powered by a Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 400 processor.
The device comes with a 13MP rear camera with flash and 5MP front camera for selfies. It will have 3100mAh battery and faster charging support with 2A charger included in the box. As well as a screen protector and SIM card sleeve will be given for free, just like with Redmi 1S.
Registration for the first sale of Redmi Note will start from tomorrow, i.e. November 25. The users who register for the sale will get to purchase the Redmi Note on December 2.
